Georg („Schorsch“) Ritter. Born 1947 and raised in Kleinheppach, at that time a little village near Stuttgart. Learned a lot for live in his father’s and brothers small sized vineyards and agriculture fields. Lives in Bavaria since 1968, studied Horticulture and Landscape-Ecology in Freising-Weihenstephan. Impassionate mountaineer with a long history in alpine climbing and high altitude expeditions in the European Alps, in South Amerika, in Russia and in the Himalayan Mountains. Started with photography more or less fifty years ago with a good old small Voigtländer Camera. Now retired with time sharing between Forester, Photographer, NGO-Assistant, Housekeeper, Alpinist, Cyclist etc. pp.
